Black Agate is a grounding and protective crystal. Its most notable properties are balancing ying/yang energy, courage, protection, healing and calming.
Add powerful talismans to your altar, witches cabinet or gemstone collection with the Witches Tumble Stones, featuring some of the most recognisable Pagan, Wiccan and Witchcraft symbols.
Pentacle The pentacle is a five-pointed star contained within a circle. The five points represent each of the four elements, with the fifth point being the spirit and the outer circle connecting them all.
Triple Moon The Triple Moon is a Goddess symbol representing the Maiden (enchantment, inception, expansion, the promise of new beginnings, birth, youth, youthful enthusiasm), Mother (ripeness, fertility, sexuality, fulfilment, stability, power and life) and Crone (wisdom, repose, death, contented endings) as the waxing, full and waning moon. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities.
Ankh The Ankh symbol traditionally means "everlasting life" but is also known simply as a symbol of fertility. This symbol is a hieroglyph seen in countless Ancient Egyptian carvings, usually held in the hands of Gods or Pharaohs to show how they preside over life.
Triskele The Triskele is best known as an ancient Celtic symbol, which symbolises the overall power of life and rebirth. It combines the spiral and the sacred number three. Believed to represent a tale of forward motion to reach understanding of the Spiritual world, the Present world and the Celestial world. Often read as life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few.
Horned God The Horned God is a symbol of the sun and moon, representing the masculine energy of the God. It is a symbol of archetype as often seen in Gods of vegetation and fertility. Associated with nature, wilderness, sexuality, hunting and the life cycle. The Horned God is also connected to the Blessing Moon and is both equal and opposite to the Goddess.
Spiral The Spiral symbol represents the path leading from outer consciousness (materialism, external awareness, ego, outward perception) to the inner soul (enlightenment, unseen essence, nirvana, cosmic awareness). Movements between the inner (intuitive, tangible) world and the outer (matter, manifested) world are mapped by the spiralling of archetypal rings; marking the evolution of humankind on both an individual and collective scale. Moreover in terms of rebirth or growth, the spiral symbol can represent the consciousness of nature beginning from the core or centre and thus expanding outwardly. This is the way of all things, as recognised by most mystics.
Pagans, Wiccans and Witches of all pasts and traditions use symbols for many things such as rituals, spellcraft, ceremonies, divination and to carry in everyday life.
Symbols speak to us in different ways, they have esoteric meanings and properties associated with them, cast these stones and intuitively hear what they whisper only to you.
